Copper Gutters
The advantage of copper gutters is that they can be historically matched to the wood ogee style of the mid 1850’s Boston-pattern gutter or any other profile. They can be scaled to fit perfectly and solve capacity issues, as was the case on this large porch roof that also drains upper roofs.
This is a slightly larger version of the Victorian 3 x 4 gutter that was in use on porches and bay windows as a solution to scale, though it was clearly undersized to drain this amount of water. Copper here can be scaled for perfect fit and will solve all drainage problems.
